1969fergie's GMT II relisted for 2nd time...
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...ayphotohosting
Can anyone read/decipher the 1st digit of the SN, it's in pic 12. It's suppose to be 9. If it is a 9, then it seems agree with the stated SN. Anyways I sent him an email stating that I would need verification of the watch from a watchmaker at Rolex AD or from RSC in Toronto before I pay him. Another odd thing is that he states that he sent the watch to service centre for full service; the auction would be over before he receives the fully serviced watch. I wonder if it's scam. Ken |

Er Buddie Orchi....
But is the WATCH a fake. I could live with an aftermarket bracelet, if the price is right.

The crown on the clasp is classic counterfeit in appearance. The watch could be ordered with the diver clasp, but the complete band on this watch is fake. Look at the photo of the endlinks from the underside of them - notice the cutout on each side of the endlink? These are also incorrect for this band, and if genuine, Rolex wasn't even using this type of endlink back then. These endlinks would have been used on a case that did not have holes in the case lugs to remove the band.
