Its probably there, it is built into the "large part" I had the same problem when I got mine.
To activate the extra link, put the bracelet at a 90 degree angle to the clasp.
You will see one link has a "O" on it , PUSH this into the clasp at the 90 degrees.
This should click & disengage the extra link. Now that you have it loose, gently tug on it from the pivoting pin, You should then have the extension
To put back to normal, lay the bracelet flat against the clasp & push back in.
Good Luck

It should in the links underneath your clasp. On one link, there is a little circle. Press it and the bracelet will expand.

It should definitely have one. If not, take it back right away. But, try what John and Paul said first. I have the cheap Sub (no date) I don't have the O on the link, but I still have the extension

Do you have the no-date Sub or the Sub-date? If it's the Sub-date, then your bracelet should look exactly like this. 4½ links on the 6 o'clock side and 9 links + one FLAT extension link on the 12 o'clock side.

For your further information, please note that the Sea Dweller has the same configuration as the Sub-date, but with ONE big difference. You will find that the SD has 5 FULL links on the 6 o'clock side instead of 4½.

PLUS...with the SD, you get this EXTRA link and FLAT extension marked "L" for LARGE. This is only in the event you wish to don your watch over a very large and thick diving suit....99.99% of which none of us will ever do!!

PLUS this very handy screwdriver to do the job!!!

He's going to replace it with a genuine Rolex bracelet, right?

It's the point. It came with the watch so you paid for it. Therefore IMO, it should be replaced

How is that end of the bracelet attached to the clasp? The divers extension has the spring bar that is strong enough to hold the bracelet properly in place, the "middle" bit (after the fold) only just holds in place and is made to break away from the clasp under light pressure. What's your dealer managed to do? and could you trust that it's anywhere near secure enough?

IMHO I'd get it checked out - and if your original watch seller doesn't know, get it checked by a competent AD, pronto! These bracelets are designed to be extremely rugged, but only if fitted correctly.

Good luck and please let us know.

Excellent point....well made too, Nick. Yes, have the bracelet checked out and let it be fixed as it was originally designed by the manufacturer.
