But here's a few bracelet photos of my DSSD

And yes even weeks later, I'm still finding protective plastic, found some taking these photos...

This is my favorite part of the DSSD. I really like the way that this bracelet is made and how it operates. I had an AD in Carmel California tell me something that I do not believe about this bracelet though. They said the the tooth sliding link that moves to change the bracelet length when the 'serrated' part of the clasp is flipped up is made of gold and then coated in tungsten to help it slide easier in the groove of the sides of the clasp. I could buy that it is made of tungsten but not with gold inside. Stainless pieces do not tend to slide against each other well unless made of different types of SS, so the tungsten part makes sense, but the other part makes no sense for any reason. Has anyone else heard anything about this part or what it is made of?

My AD just showed this watch to me..... ummmmm WOW, in all aspects just spectacular, I really love the band and the ceramic bezel......

I didn't hear that there was gold in the clasp. I did hear that the numbers on the bezel are platinum, but that's it.

Agree... I heard the platinum is vapor deposited on the bezel...

John, what is "vapor deposited" please? How can platinum be applied like this?

My AD told me this, I have not read anything to back it up, but I know that nickasil is applied in a vacuum to cylinders and PVD is widely used in many different fields...
