Windows media player question
If I download the latest version of media player will it overwrite the existing one or do I have to delete it before downloading?

I'd imagine it would keep both and you can set either as the default player

Is this on Vista?
Pretty sure it overwrites existing, you won't have to delete old one. |

Pre Win10 it upgrades you current player to the new one (overwrites if you will) and you have the option of installing Media Player classic also so you have 2
Post Win 10 I don't know. I don't like spyware on my system and that includes operating systems that spy (and Microsoft doesn't include the media suite anymore, so you have to buy it now......and then it send all your play data back to big brother anyway) |
