WTT 1955 Rolex Explorer 5500 Glossy Gilt Dial
Hi Everyone,
I'd like to trade my 1955 Rolex Explorer 5500 with Glossy Gilt Dial for a vintage/new Submariner, Vintage Omega or Vintage Eberhard. Of course, part of the fun of the trade is seeing what other interesting offers come in! I do have TRF references and have done deals with some of the larger names on TRF (DavidSW, etc.). I've also sold successfully on TRF. More on the watch: Rolex Explorer Model 5500 Serial 369,XXX Black Glossy Gilt Dial 34 mm Separately purchased and correct rivet bracelet *I'll also include the black nato this watch originally came on. Trade value approximately $5000. The watch has sharp lugs and is a very different 50s Rolex look with yellow gold arrowhead markers and dauphine style hands. The dial is a very nice glossy black gilt Swiss only dial. The glossy finish is aging to matte. The watch does not include box or papers, but does have Rolex Service Center papers and runs perfectly.
