Rolex Boutique Bond St. BaselWorld 17 Collection
Took a few photos from yesterday evening's event over at the boutique. Place was a bit small but nevertheless I had the pleasure to try out the new releases.
The skydwellers are nice and so is the SD43 however I've got really small wrist so I'm giving it all a pass. Enjoy the pics. The white SkyDweller has light sheen to it, almost satin like which is nice. The blue one has a waiting list of 2 years I've been told. Too big for my 6 1/8" wrist. Side by side, the SkyDweller and SD43 has almost the same thickness No go for me :( but :) for the bank account The Datejust 41 |

great pics, thank you for sharing, out of all the sky-dwellers, that white is my absolute favorite.

Thank you for the pictures, looks like a fun time.
Interesting comparison shot between the thickness of the SkyDweller and the SD43 |

I think if I want to try to pull off a larger watch with that lug to lug (other than my current Exp 2 I love), I'd go after that sky dweller. Looks great but huge in the pics compared to the SD for small wrist guys like me (like you, I'm only @ between 6.375 to 6.5"). Gotta try it on.
But damn.....that white gold Daytona. I am in love. Thanks for sharing. |

Thanks for the report!
The SD43 is a good pairing for the SkyD (thickness and diameter look very similar). If only the SkyD came with a Jubilee bracelet |

Hope the canapés were as good as the hype! Interesting the SkyD and SD43 are similar thickness, the SkyD seemed slimmer to me.

It's crazy to see the Sky-Dweller with pretty much the same thickness as the SD43

According to past measurements of the gold ones, it measures 14mm..I think it's hard to discern a mm difference in these types of photos due to perspective. Visually on the same wrist from these pics it seems to wear much smaller...that's the power of that big bezel on the sd43 for you. I'm pretty excited to try it since it should be more comfortable with a less protruding caseback.

I don't think the SD50 looks too large on you. |

Blue dial SkyD I like but have no interest in such a large dressy watch the Sea Dweller is cool, if I were in the market for a diver

If it was possible to scource one. Would a Numeral dial from a WG SD fit in the Ss version?
