What an incredible place, try out the camel rides if you can while you're there and remember to lean way back when getting off!

Great place. I had a plainclothes policeman with me and my family when I visited there. My young son thought it was cool because he was carrying a gun. I made good use of him and got him to take the family photos. Great place but dangerous, be careful out there.

The most dangerous thing in Egypt is the bloody food. You have a 50/50 chance of spending a non stop 4 hours sitting on the pan.

Other than that, it is a great place.

Regards

Mick

We are having a wonderful time will post camel ride pictures later on. We have been extremely careful with what we eat, also sanitizing hands every time you handle $$ is a must.
Thanks for all the safe travels wishes.

That is great source for local tours with a private guide and ac vehicle (very clean) check out this website

http://www.urbanadventures.com/Cairo...cairo-in-depth

ask for Dalia to be your guide, she is great and very reasonable prices. We stayed at the Le Meridien Pyramids, literally across the street from the Giza Pyramids. Here is a picture from my room.
