A new way to use my watch

Silly me forgot my Garmin Forerunner at home for this weekend’s runs, so Rolex and Everest to the rescue! This setup did the job on timing my run which I then measured in google maps.

Very nice. The contrast of black rubber with platinum and white dial actually works pretty well. Nice combination.

I put the Everest strap on my YM a few months back. I borrowed a friends strap to try on. I love it. But I have small wrists so the extra length on the Everest bothers me. I'm still wanting to add a black rubber strap. I heard Everest ones are shorter. So I may give that a go.

Looks great OP. That was my first Rolex I bought 16 years ago. Still have it.

Looks really nice actually! Good backup plan.

I've tried running with my YM on a racing leather strap with rubber lining. The problem I found is the crown would start digging into the back of my hand. I prefer usung a chrono with titanium case and a small crown when running.
