UK - GMT LN always been popular but,,,,

First of all I already have my GMT LN and I will never sell it. So it's value to me means nothing at all...not interested

But, I have 2 friends in London trying to get one.

AD' s in and around London,,,no chance. Know the AD well,,maybe March 2018
Watchfinder - 60 GMT available but nothing,,,yes Zero LN in stock
BLOWERS - Zero

LN - Has it just become even more sort after?

The price increase a year ago made no difference according to sales teams.
5600 to 6200 pounds did nothing

Just wondered how the situation is with our friends in the USA
Easier over there guys?

They did come up from members AD pics but looks like all ADs will be very tight until next year.

I see one or two at every AD I walk into here in Canada. I would presume it’s even easier to find in the US.

Pretty much every watch is in stock in the US for most dealers except the DaytonaC, LVc, BLNR, and the SD43 (though that is a short wait time if you want to order it).

LN sitting in a case here this weekend. Dealer did make a comment that they had several empty spots in the case though because Rolex “seems to be running out of watches.”

I saw a couple in AD windows a couple of months back up in NW England, things appear to have gotten much tighter since.

There are a few on chrono 24 (mark worthington has one for example), but I see the watchfinder ones have been hoovered up as they were there late last week when I checked. Odd, but maybe it’s the impatience at the lack of brand new in ad’s because up to a month ago you could see these in windows. Alternatively, as these have never been priced as high as subs in the greys, people are purchasing in case of a price increase...?

None in Singapore either. Only things available in SS here are EXP IIs and Milgauss.

I spotted one last week whilst away with the family. It was in the window of Fraser Hart in York. It sat in the window and I commented with surprise that it was there and they said it’s rare for one to make the window and had just gone in . As I was passing the following day someone was collecting it.

Didn’t last long.

I used to see them fairly regularly outside of London (at least once a month to 6 weeks), as well as subs and even the odd sub date, but that seemed to stop around May time.

Just had a quick look round some grey dealers (out of interest not looking to buy) and even sub TT models are now going for close to retail. A new Sub is going for £6250 (retail 5450), sub date for £6750, no newish LV available but a 2 year old one available on WF for 7500. Glad I got mine when I did!!

Plenty of used ones here. Not sure about AD status though.

One "grey" in Helsinki has 5 used LN GMT's for sale.

Yes even the LN is rare in the Uk now. Might be able to chance on one at ADs further away from big cities, even that's unlikely. Interestingly I spoke to my AD recently that while they don't have anyone on LN waiting list, they are not seeing much stock coming in, hence nothing making it to the window

The Brent Cross one was offered to me as I was the only one on their LN waiting list - but I had already acquired one back in September when one went in the window in Wempe (for a day) - and another went in their window a few weeks later! So they were certainly available after a short wait a few months back.

A few months back when I got mine in June it was tough. AD's here had them (we'll just 1, apparently) and if you didn't go get it right away you were out of luck pretty much. They were tough to find pre-owned as well then. They're popular and in so glad I got one. Like you, I have plans on keeping mine because I absolutely love the way g and can't imagine enjoying anything to this level.

It seems all the ADs I've been to in my city have the LN GMT in stock every time I visit. SubC also tends to be in stock but it's about 50/50 on the date version. It's just BLNR, LVc, DaytonaC and SD43 I haven't seen in display cases yet (the one time I did see a BLNR, I snapped it up immediately.)
