GMT II 16713 screw back, polished?

Hello guys, I thought I know alot about Rolexes :) but I still got alot more to learn... and here is something I want to learn... does this screw back of my GMT look off? most screw back I seen on Rolexes seem to be brushed, but mine is blank polished?

Yes it should be brushed. I bet the watch as been re-polished and the person either forgot to brush it or didn't know it had to be brushed.

Sometimes just wearing it for years can smooth out the brushed look.

Probably been polished by someone who didn't have a flat sanding surface to hand. I wouldn't worry unless the watch is uncomfortably sticky. Very nice by the way!

That's an awesome looking watch. The tips of the lugs look a little shiny, too. Are they? Looks like the person who polished it just didn't have the official Rolex abrasives and/or doesn't know the original polish lines. If you care, you could have a good watchmaker do a light polish to add the correct grain back in.
