Need help, frustrated with AP strap change

Hi All,

I found my ROO deployment buckle very uncomfortable; it pokes my wrist all the time and literally I dont wear my ROO despite the fact I love it. I did a search and realized other people had the same issue. Being said that, I bought couple of rubber straps with tang buckle (not from AP) but now they dont fit the watch and I have no idea why; the pin doesn't go through the holes and gets stuck.

Would greatly appreciate any input.

Doesn't look like a gen AP strap to me, just cheap imitations... Where did you get them? Whoever made these they either simply don't fit or aren't the correct size. Your best bet is to buy a gen AP strap. Bearing in mind the value of the watch and, as you discovered, importance of fit, I don't understand why you wouldn't.

Thanks for reply, it was sold as OEM on net, but I agree with you on being counterfeit. I will go to AP I guess

How much was it? That will tell us more, but it looks aftermarket.

Look like the hole doesn’t align. Maybe shave a bit of the strap end as from the pin angle, the strap end look like slightly longer.

There are very high quality aftermarket rubber straps that fit perfectly to an ROO. You simply had a bad luck.

Be aware that you can find genuine pre-owned AP rubber strap on eBay close to half a price if you look carefully. Possible problem here is that counterfeit rubber straps are now with so high quality that it is very difficult to know if what you bought is genuine or not.

Again, if you want to be perfectly sure, an AD is the only way to go.
