Oysterflex on Ceramic Submariner 114060

Well after trying my Oysterflex on my Daytona I decided to try it on my Ceramic Submariner 114060 as I haven't come across that combo before.

Big thank you again to Chadridv not only for the inspiration but also the support in helping me figuring out sizing via a few PMs
Once we figured out sizing, Chad’s words had me doubtful despite my good AD relationship:

Quote:
Chadridv

Q: Where do you get the Oysterflex Bracelet and how much does it cost?

A: You have to be kind of lucky to land yourself an OF bracelet. You either need to have a fantastic relationship with someone at an AD who can hook you up, or you need to keep an eye on private sales. As most know, ADs are not really supposed to sell "loose parts" so don't waste your time or theirs going from door to door asking to buy one. If you have a good enough relationship to ask, you'd know.
So I reached out to my AD and low and behold, not only were they willing to sell it to me no problem, they also happened to have my size (E-E and E-F) in stock! It was meant to be! Anyways, onto the main event, what you are here for: the Ceramic Submariner 114060 on Oysterflex!

And a quick video to show what it looks like from a wrist roll angle

PS: The end links that I currently have on the Sub are actually made for the Daytona (shorter length and polished center).
This is due to my Sub end links arriving defective from Smartyjones18; which happens!
However, Smartyjones18 already sent over a fresh new pair no questions asked, I highly recommend both his products and dealing with him, he is an absolute pleasure to deal with!

Thanks!

Looks great! Rolex should at least offer it as an option.

It looks more sporty and hardy now.
Can’t believe Rolex don’t offer this strap as an option.

Looks good, OP, glad you got the combo to work.

I think I'm on the minority on this, but I actually prefer the look of the rubber strap without the endlinks, like Rolex did with the RG YMI. Much cleaner, imo.

Regardless, it's a very nice change of pace!

Of course! I wouldn't even have thought of reaching out to my AD without your posts

Thanks very much! And yeah I don't love the look without the end links but hey! That's what makes this hobby so great, something for everyone!

And then drop €560 on two pieces of rubber.

I think Rolex is really dropping the ball with not offering these straps. They could sell them ALL DAY for 600€/$750 and their profit margin would be astronomical.
