5711r

Is this considered a dog reference? Don’t see many around.

I like it because of the heft of the rose gold. Have an opportunity to buy one and would like peoples opinion.

I’d have to pay about 35k for it.

Thanks for your thoughts.

Are you by any chance talking about the version on strap? Not the one on bracelet?

It’s in a brown rubber strap, Brown dial, and from Govberg. I buy the majority of my watches from them.

I believe you're thinking of the 5167r. And no, its not a "dog"

You are correct. Sorry about that.

Still like the watch at 35k

The strap version of the 5711R is quite rare by now. Most of the pieces in chrono24 are a few grands above that price quoted by OP.

I looked at it but the dial was more grey than brown. It was discoed a few years ago so that is why there is no mention of it, and generally strapped nauts are not very popular here. Get the 5711/1r, has a true brown dial and bracelet.

I have a 5990. I’ve had the two 5711’s and 5712’s. They never stuck. I think the 5990 checks all the boxes for me.

It has always been one of the lowest in terms of resale for a sports Patek but it’s also gorgeous. If you like it I’d get it! Can’t comment on price unfortunately.

35k for a 5711R on strap is a very good price assuming the watch is in good condition.

I don't love the gold Aquanaut. Something off about the lume color vs dial.

But its a lovely watch if you can get past that.

I saw that Patrick at OC watches had one full set at $29.5k. That seems more reasonable
Than 33k imho :)
