During 1968-1969, there was no translation booklet but instead it was a single, folded piece of paper. The multi-page translation booklets came into use around 1980.
Below are some pics from one of my sets. The watch, serial number 204XXXX has a 1968 case back stamping. The folded translation paper is just to the left of the inner box.
