SS 5711 current ballpark wait time?

What's the wait time on average for a PP SS 5711 at the AD?

Is there anywhere in the world where it might be a shorter wait?

Also, is the list price 25k USD?

Thanks

Depending on your relationship a few weeks to never. (I’m on the never timescale at the moment as I can’t even get on the list)

No such thing as an ‘average’ wait with this model!

Hey,

The list price is almost 30K, the waiting time depends really on how good your relationship is with your AD, if you have a good relationship you might get it within a short period of time, but they average from 1 to 3yrs and sometimes longer too

Without a pre-existing relationship, the multi year "wait time" is basically a polite way of telling you it's never happening. Some ADs simply have these things sitting in the safe waiting for the right client, while others may wait a few months to a few years.

And most ADs will only want to deal with people in their specific area, so you'll have little luck trying to "forum shop" as well.

I just surveyed all ADs globally and the wait is longer than you’d like

If AD tells you more than a year it means they will never call you, even in 10 years, unless you buy something from them. Had 1 AD tell me they'd be willing to bump me up to near the top if I bought a 5205g

The wait time for me is the ETA the dealer will give you after accepting a deposit on the watch. Without deposit it is just not going to happen

If you buy a 5270, immediately as it is in the safe. If you don’t buy anything else, years.

Just like Rolex ADs buy a full PM on bracelet and out comes the SS Daytona. Except much more coin required!

I've called almost ALL US ads, and I mean ALL of them. Called about 2-3 weeks ago and got the following data.

I'd imagine its worse if its a blue one.

Here's a quick peak at my analysis:

error: 5164, is supposed to be 5164R.

To have a relationship, you need to buy something from them first. This is crucial imo.

Talked to a few ADs and asked how many people phone or walk-in asking for 5711/5712. 4 ADs I have recently visited said the same thing. It is 4-5 people. You know they only receive 1-2 pieces per year. You calculate that by 365. The number is almost 2k. The chance is 0.1% now. It is again back the relationship thing and of course to have such a relationship, you know what to do.

Yea, buy their non-popular pieces no that one can or wants to buy.

There are 2 ads willing to take your deposit at least you get your name on the list!
Personal experience, as long as AD lets you put down deposit, its only a matter of time for receiving it.
Could be years but eventually you will get it.

TRF of course!

Luxury today is in its purest form. Getting what you want when you want requires $$$. Buy the other watches first or go straight to it and pay the cost upfront.

I hate the current form I prefer when everyone else is broke and I can exploit the market with my small liquid bank

I am on a waitlist. The AD said about a 2 year wait. I was told they get in 4-5 per year. I am number 10 on the list.

Stop paying the premiums Bro and just be patient for the White dial. You have two stunners IMO

I’d wait if I could get into a list. Flat out no on the white. They only took deposits on 5164R and 5726.
