Well, it's Friday and I got a well-deserved day off, so I went cruising around with this on my wrist:

Besides, I got a big weekend coming up, so I figured I'd give it some wrist time before the SD takes up the prime parking spot.

Don't have a photo of the Sub-date, but....

Last night I actually dreamt I flipped the Sub-date for a base 112!

Now, I need a date on a watch, and am no fan of manual wind, but I have that itch! - but I'll not flip the Sub, I'll swave for the Pam, maybe

RobDad, sounds like you may want to look at the PAM104... automatic AND a date!

Trying this one today.

Feeling a bit down today, thought maybe a change might help a bit.

Thanks, John. It's one of the one's I've hung onto the longest. I love this watch. This and the Omega will be with me forever

My Grand-Pop flew in WW II. This one looks almost identical to one he brought back with him. he wouldn't wear it much because it was a Germans watch.( I guess he still had some bad feelings back then) He wore an Air King, but I loved to look at the old flieger chrono as a kid

Very cool! Funny BruceS (member here) said he met a guy in DC who's grandad flew for Germany in WWII and that he had his original Panerai watch. That thing would be worth about US$80,000 now!

I bet! I don't know what name brand the one my Grand-Pop had was. I wish It were still around. You know how it is when somebody passes. It was passed around from family member to family member. Because it wasn't the one he always wore the sentiments probably just weren't there and it somehow went by the wayside

In a word... NO!

I am learning to adjust, and am now quite happy with it. Thanks anyway, Craig.

Love the Fiver pal!!! Glad it could finally be unwrapped. How many birthday presents are you getting this year?

Seriously, that is a great watch and looks awesome on that strap.
