Who’s your “to go” Patek trusted seller on TRF?

I’m on the market for a 5205R-010, the AD in my area is willing to discount 6% (tax in my state) but I’ve read of forum members that got better prices.
Who’s your “to go” trusted seller when it comes to Patek?

For this model, DavidSW should be able to look after you nicely.

I’ve never bought a PP from a non AD, but I’d buy from DavidSW or SohAIS with confidence. I’d also expect a better price on that reference.

Have you considered Steven Rostovsky? Not sure he’s on the forum but you can get his email list. Totally trustworthy.

I bought or sold Patek with Davidsw, sohais, justrolexes and would recommend akatakuya even though I’ve never bought or sold Patek with him.

All those guys I trust enough to wire 50k to without losing an inch of sleep.

They're not on TRF, yet European Watch in Boston is excellent. Albert is a great guy to deal with. He also has an excellent full-color tabletop book about watches with extremely high quality pics of Pateks, etc. Well, worth having imho.

not hard to find... if it was me i would fly to the UK buy one (its cheaper anyway), get a VAT return and even with declaring the import in the US you come out way ahead and its in your name and not a used watch. You might even get a modest discount as well.

DavidSW, SohAIS, or Takuya. Also OCRolexGuy. I wouldn't buy a Patek from anyone other than an AD or the most reputable online dealers. I believe that those 4 would make things right if there were an issue.

I encountered an issue with a watch after wearing it a bit, and David took it back and issued a full refund. Done several deals with Thanh (takuya) and imagine he would react the same way if there were any problems.

One common scam is when thieves pretend to be one of the trusted sellers. Make sure you are dealing with the genuine person. PM them on TRF if you have any suspicions.

DavidSW is one of the great TS here on TRF and he has a 5205R in stock. Feel free to talk to him about it I am sure he will take good care of you.

Thanh (Takuya) is my go to - and DavidSW.

Patrick (OCRolexguy) and Tony (Justrolexes) are solid also.

Good luck!

Irina at PacificBayWatches is excellent and I have worked with her several times. Highly recommended.

Albert at European Watch Co in Boston is okay, I bought a pre-owned watch that it turns out had been poorly serviced. It will be expensive to fix what was mishandled at the next service (with my own highly trusted watchmaker in NYC).

"OCROLEXGUY" they the BEST....!!!

I have deal with OCROLEXGUY aka Patrick the owner and his partner George in persons...

They the BEST trusted seller no matter you deal with them in person or online or phone .....

If you happen to be in the area you could do face to face transaction because they have a office where you could go to but you must make apportionment with them first.....

Experience wise, they are 2nd to none compare to the Rolex & Patek Philippe AD experience....

My wife & I have deal with OCROLEXGUY in the past, present & will do business with them in the future...

They have a HUGE selection of Rolex & Patek Philippe.. ..

You name it.... They have all the hard to find model... If not they can order for you.....

No doubt my wife & I will do business with them again.....

Also forgot to mention they now offer in-house service with the fast turn around time in 2 weeks from what I experience....

Ugh, sorry as can't believe i forgot to mention...

alikara is a great TRF'er, solid, and his deal was far better than DavidSW and Tak.

If you don’t mind me asking what Patek did you buy from him? I thought you jumped ship back to rolex Steven?
