Incoming...7118-1200R
My first real watch was an Omega Seamaster that I've owned for close to 18 years but I never really was into watches until recently. I purchased my wife a Patek Aquanaut about 8 years ago and at the time, thought that it was an insane price to pay for a watch but hey she liked it so why not. Then last year on a trip to London, I picked up a Rolex SD4K and since then, I've really started to become obsessed with watches.
My wife has always wanted us to have matching watches so I began to research Patek models as she has never really loved Rolexes. She wanted me to get a 5167 but I fell in love with the 5712. I went to my AD last December and they said that they could put me on the waitlist but it would probably be a year or so. In the meantime my wife was upset that I wasn't getting a 5167 but I told her that I wanted something on a bracelet and the 5712 with its asymmetrical layout really caught my eye. Then in February while I was just checking in with my AD and they showed me a sold 7118-1200R and I came up with the idea of us having matching Nautilli. She loved the idea and I asked our AD to try to secure us that watch. Just got the call today that my watch was in but when I called it was my wife's and not my 5712. She's happy but my wait continues. They think it's still 6 months away. My understanding is that I'm next or next after next so hopefully that will be soon. Anyways I've always enjoyed reading and seeing all the new incoming watches so I thought I would post my latest incoming. Sorry that the pictures aren't great. They are from my iphone. |
