Any Help Appreciated !
Hi There , I am new to the forum so hello to all !
I have always had an affinity to Rolex watches . I bought my first sub date back in 1999 ( 16610?) and its never been off my wrist since . Its never had a service or clean and still looks awesome ( apart from a few very small alcohol infused dings!) . I am not a connoiseur to say the least and am but a pure novice in these circles so after some help if possible. I have come by a vintage rolex chronograph which I believe is one of the very early ones Rolex manufactured . I am having an issue dating it as the serial number has six digits and my limited research suggests it should have 5 digits to date it to the date I am thinking to late 1930's ? Also does anyone know what date range Rolex used this logo . Any information at all on this watch is hugely appreciated , model I think is a cushion 2022? . Just need to work out how to post pics ! Pics to follow Cheers Nabiel |

Hi There , sorry I meant I have not had my submariner date serviced since I bought it not this one. I do not have the watch in my mitts at the moment , its overseas and I have an option to acquire it . I have had it my hands and is only I think 32m wide so quite small on the wrist.

It should have a 5 digit serial #.

MonBK thanks I thought so too , the issue is the photo I took at the time of inspection of the inner case with the serial number ( worn) is quite difficult to read, the readable digits are 3***5
but there looks as if there 'could be' a 6 prefixing it all , there again it could be just a swirl in the steel plus the 6 ( if it is) looks smaller than the rest. |
