Anyone brushed those shiny polished centre links
Attracted to sports watches like the milgauss and the GMT but not a fan of those polished centre links. Anyone feel the same way and actually brushed those centre links?

I’ve been thinking about brushing the PCL’s of my 619. I’m a little scared. I actually have LAWW close to where I live. I would love to see pics |

It's not uncommon. Plenty of pics if you just Google "Rolex brushed center links."
I love the shiny center links personally, but I can understand how folks prefer the less shiny look (or simply want a finish that doesn't highlight every tiny scratch). |

If you don’t want a watch with PCLs I would suggest buying one with brushed links. Problem solved.

I chose the expensive route and bought a Subc bracelet. It is a perfect fit on my GMT IIc and I get the added benefit of the glidelock.
Now that I know that PCL brushing is an easily reversible process, I would have tried brushing the original bracelet. |

I owned the GMT and ended up selling it because the polished Center links made me crazy. I liked them when I first got the watch but every microscratch shows and it is a fingerprint magnet. In retrospect I wish I’d had my AD brush them. I loved everything else about the watch.

I did on my GMT. An AD did it for me at no charge. I would not do that to PM however.

The first thing I did after receiving my BLNR was to have the PCLs brushed. The first thing I did after receiving my Milgauss was to put a RubberB strap on it. I’m not a fan of PCLs!
