Datejust 116200 band options

Hi everyone, I'd like to put my Datejust on a watch band but I have no clue where to look, or what size to get. I have a 36 mm 116200 that came with a regular oyster bracelet.

What size band do I need to get?

Where would you recommend I buy a leather band from?

You need a strap that has a 20mm lug width

Have a look at the nato straps.

Keep in mind the springbar clearances on these watches are very tight - the watch case chewed up the edges of the straps I tried to put on it when I had my DJ36. You may need to use a curved springbar to fit a strap on.

I’ve heard of this and have seen some pictures of leather straps chewed up.

Does this happen with nylon nato style straps as well?

Not sure - I wrecked two leather straps trying to put them on my DJ, then gave up and just put it back on the bracelet.
