Wife wearing down husband

So for all the men out there, how often do the women in your life wear you down to get one of watches sized for them to wear and how long did it take the women in your life to wear you down ??

I made the mistake of putting a GMT on rubber. She saw it and asked if she could try it on, I didn't get it back for 4 days.
Still it's her Birthday at the beginning of next month, and there might be something in a green box for her.

I just lost my rose gold Daytona to my wife. I installed a Rubber B band and next thing you know its on her wrist!!! My plan is to get her a rose gold celini to reclaim my beloved RG Daytona ( my 1st Rolex too). I can't seem to post pics from my IMAC. Tried many times as I would love to post pics of my collection.

No wife for me, but from friends that have the wife and Rolex the smart advice is get them a Rolex of their own that is cheaper than yours before this happens

This is his. I have 2 of my own, the new datejust 41 and datejust 36 (I think that’s the size, the bigger one) with rose gold and diamond markers.
But ever since he bought the green sub, I’ve been obsessed. We swapped watches, he’s wearing the new datejust now. :)

All the time

She ground me down and wore my Pepsi for 2 years

So I caved in and bought her a Wimbledon dial DJ

Now she has a Tudor BB58 aswell

And is currently eyeing up a blue dial Daytona

She even asked if I’d resize my blue TT sub the other week

And asked for a Cartier tank

Oh and I didn’t even mention she tried to convince me my speedmaster ck2998 pulsometer looked ok on her and the tightest fitting wasn’t too loose (I disagreed) haha

Never, just purchase your wife the watch of her desire and your collection will be safe.

Happens to most of my watches. Fortunately, our wrist sizes and sides we wear watches on meant that we both could (just about) comfortably wear all our watches without the need of resizing - just the extension link or glide-lock.

My current girlfriend really wants to wear my OP but she is hesitant as she does not want to scratch it up. I tell her that I do not really care and I have already put plenty of scratches on the thing but she still refuses.

Maybe one day.

She asked a few times and I let her wear my SKX007 on oyster for a week as a trial run.

During the week, I saw the watch placed on granite countertops, IN her handbag, and in her jewelry bowl with other shiny, metal objects. When I forcefully took it back, the clasp and the outer band were all scratched up.

Never again.

My wife wears my 36 TT DJ - but its loose on her. It has not been resized.

She has no interest in the GMT or Daytona. But is currently looking at JLC and Patek. Maybe I should have the DJ resized!
