New White face watch making me dislike black faces

All these years of buying either a black face or blue face watches, I just recently acquired a white face. It has made me not like wearing my black face Air King as much? Anyone else really just thinks a white/silver face is so much easier to read and just really pops on the wrist. I have always thought I preferred black face, but the white face YM has me considering getting rid of the black face AK as I don't think I will even wear much anymore.

White dial also grows on me, though mainly due to grater legibility since I still prefer understated watches.

I wouldn't say it put me off black dials, but when the D500 came out in both colours I knew I wanted the white one more, partly because black dials are so abundant, I do like sunburst dials now mostly, and only have one black dial now.

The issue is, in Rolex SS sports lineup, there aren't many white dial offers. The white Daytona C is the only one I would like to buy. It's super hot for reasons.

White dials really grew on me. I thought I didn't like them and now I seem to look just at white dials.

I love white and silver dials and have some, but the watch in my collection with better readability has a black face (Exp39)

I wouldn’t say I’m put off by them, but I own zero black dials today and haven’t for quite some years now.

I find silver, shades of blue, gray, ivory, etc more interesting.

There is something crisp and refreshing about a white dial. My first ever Rolex was the white Milgauss. That watch was mesmerizing and such a cool summer watch in particular.
