Milgauss Line

Was thinking about the similarities between the Milgauss and the OP/DJ and wondered if it ever occurred to Rolex to extend the MG line by offering options for a fluted bezel, date-cyclops and jubilee bracelets.

Kind of like how the SD compliments the sub for those who want something that wears a bit bigger.

The Milgauss lacks a date because having a whole in the dial would compromise its anti-magnetic properties.

Omega can manage it (and find another 14,000 gauss protection).

Omega uses an antimagnetic movement. Rolex uses a regular movement and sticks it inside a faraday cage. Omega’s solutions is state of the art watchmaking. Rolex is state of 1950s.

There's nothing wrong with the current Milgauss except the dreadfull color scheme (and maybe the PCLs) It doesn't need a date, flutes, higher resistance or...please God no...a jubilee bracelet.

People need the higher resistance about as much as they need more WR depth on the Deep Sea.

A faraday cage is a pretty crappy solution in 2019. It’s the same technology they used in the first Milgauss.

The Milgauss line has a great history. I think it should remain how it is. The movement technology might be the same as the tech used in the original but it has some very interesting aspects that make it very unique.

It is also common knowledge that magnetism can affect your brain.
