Watch Winder for Rolex

I was a bit excited for this package to come so had to let TRF know! I recently was looking around for either a watch stand, or more realistically a good watch winder that was reasonably priced with good quality. Most of my options were around the $200 mark at the cheapest. I then was shopping online at Macy’s and came across a Royce Leather Watch Winder.

It was part of their friends and family sale for only $72.50!!! Go ahead and google this brand, cheapest I found was $194 with it selling for $500 on the company website!

I got two of them, one for my 326933 and one for my 116610LN.

I alerted a buddy of mine who purchased one as well.

What happened next was shocking, but not really unexpected. Macy’s cancelled my order and my friends orders!

I gave them a call and they couldn’t give me a straight answer as to why the order was cancelled, but offered to replace the order and they manually re entered the order. By the time my friend went to replace his order, the product was off the site.

They assured me the second order would go through and would arrive around the 13th. I was wary this would actually arrive, but when it did boy was I happy to score two Royce Leather Watch Winder’s for less than the price of one!

Congrats on the purchase BUT personally I think very negative of watch winders, never used them and never will, I just don't see a point, plus I really don't think its good for a watch to work 24/7

Good watch winders won't work the watch 24/7 - they'll have a 10-12 hour rest period where they won't turn.

Do you have the ability to set the TPD on this winder?

I think a basic definition of any "good" watch winder is that you can set it in particular to 650 tpd both directions which is what Rolex specifies for most of its models. Also it should be able to be set to faster or more tpd and in either direction to meet other manufacturers recommendations.

the best watch winder is you walking about with your watch on. I don't see the added value to keep the watch winded and in use if you are not using it?

Nice looking machine but not a fan of winders for any Rolex watch, especially those with a 72 hour power-reserve.

It will not allow me to change TPD but has four settings
