Question about Submariner weight

I just posted about putting a deposit on a new 14060M tomorrow. When I tried it on over the weekend I was surprised by the relatively light weight. I am comparing the weight to my Omega Speedmaster Pro and my Seamaster 2254.50. I figured my Speedy would be heavier considering the chronograph movement and the corresponding thicker case. It is also alot lighter than my automatic Seamaster. What contributes to the Subs low weight? Or am I looking at it the wrong way and my Omega is heavy? I know that weight is in no way a measure of quality. Just curious. Thanks

My Speedy Pro and Sub weighs 141g and 132g, respectively. So, probably a combination of the case (42mm vs. 40mm), movement, and bracelet. The Speedy is closer in weight to the Platinum Yachtmaster (140g) - same size and movement as the Sub, but with a platinum dial and bezel.

I have no idea but I'm sure all watches weigh differently depending on case, bracelet, materials used, etc....

I owned the Omega SMP 300 chrono-215 g and the Oris Small Seconds diver 245g and 2 months ago hit the eject button on both and picked up the sub LV @ 135 g. The weight of the Omega was very obvious, every day of the 6 years I owned it. The Oris was a great looking watch of very good quality but at that weight and 47mm-just too big. I had the same concern about the Sub weight when I was looking at them. However, once I got home with it and wore it for a day I wondered how I could have worn those heavy watches those years. The comfort is amazing. Just some thoughts.

I bought a SD, and came from a SMP 2254 myself. I have really feel in love with Rolex feel, and band. Ron

Omegas do seem to be heavy. I think the Sub is about 135g and my Omega GMT is about 167g. I think the Rolex GMT is about 127g.
