New Meteorite just landed in Paris
Have been contemplating an all diamond face (not bezel) WG day-date for a while to add to the collection but always felt it could be a little over the top. While on vacation in Paris last week I went into a Rolex store in Place Vendome looking for such a watch, the saleswoman showed me this instead and the rest is history. Congratulations! Meteorite is extremely tough to photograph well to begin with. Stunning to the eye though!

Looks lovely and an iconic model.
I don't know my Rolex models terribly well - is that white gold? I'd love to see one in the metal, I'll bet it has a lovely weight. |

Is that the 40mm or 36mm version. Looks like a 40, but somewhat difficult to tell

Never intended to buy ANY watches whatsoever. Wife went into Marais with the kids, I stuck around the hotel, took a walk on St Honore, veered off to the Vendome into the jewelry stores there and voila - here it is on my wrist!! |
