my 8 day timeing test

after getting it back from the rsc i thought it would be fun to see whether my TT sub gained or lost time
so i set the watch time by this site......
http://wwp.greenwichmeantime.co.uk/
i also rechecked the watch by the above site

the watch was set last saturday 14th at 19.36
the watch was checked today sunday 22nd at 10am

there has been a gain of 16 seconds

so my maths are not my strong point but thats roughly 2 seconds a day which i presume is pretty good

i also like the fact that if i dont alter the watch i can't be late because its fast

i take this watch off to bed and it is sat on its side with the crown down (well resting on the crown actually)

i know this is not a scientific test but its what i do daily so is pertenant to my watch
im going to keep this going for a month and see what the results are after that but i suspect it will just be 4 X 16 seconds

anyway guys i just thought you may like to know

My Sub was like that before I sent it off for service Martin. Hopefully it will come back the same way

not just a Rolex thing. I had this serviced and restored, (older pictures) and over a week long period is running as good as my Rolex, not bad for a 100 year old time piece. I did check and it does not have a 3186 movement

My wifes' is less than half a second per day.
Mine is more that 2 , per day, but who cares ?

You would be worried if you had to leave for 6 months, to no-place, without contact with other people or civilisation, and had the restriction that in order to return, you had a slot of 1 specific second in six months time, otherwise you would stay there forever .
