SS Datejust 41 - Are you paying over or under retail?

Just bought a brand new DJ41 all stainless (ref 126300, Blue, Smooth, Jubilee, Stick). Loving the watch so far and couldn't be more happy with the purchase. I paid retail for it from a dealer in NYC. Curious if people are paying over or under retail for this watch? Btw, I was in the Bahamas a few weeks ago and had a chance to buy the same watch with Rhodium dial for the old retail price of $7,500 and no tax from an AD inside the Baha Mar Hotel and Casino. I passed on it because I wasn't ready. Glad I passed because I'm in love with the blue dial.

The new gold bezel Jubilee is over 9k... 7500 is probably the steel bezel oyster

Have the same watch, DJ41 in same configuration. Blue sticks, Jubilee, smooth. Also from an AD, also at retail. If you're getting it grey, most likely you're paying over retail if you're getting new.

He did say smooth bezel, so it is indeed steel bezel. I'm not well versed in US pricing, but here the difference b/w Oyster and Jubilee is 100. Could've been Jubilee.

That sounds about right for NYC. Dealers here won't discount on DJs for the most part. Cellinis and PMs are still doable.

I got a sweet deal on mine. Wimbledon S/O (3235 mvmt) going back to sept.'18 though, ordered it prepaid cash 6.6k delivered. At that time msrp was 7350.

It was Jubilee. it was an excellent deal had I bought it. The same watch retails for 7900 and gray is sometimes more.

Retail or under for this watch. This is a shock window piece, do not listen to anyone telling you otherwise. Ok the blue and Wimbledon dials are not in every window but they arent hard to get if you ask a few AD's.
