Anyone use their dive watch bezel day to day?

... I was curious if anyone ever uses their dive watch bezel day to day - you know, time how long your beer has been chilling in the freezer, how long the pizza's been in the oven? How long the pee has been on the pregnancy test??

Can you share the reasons? Mine were factious examples, but I am generally interested in how people might use it.

I use it all the time: timing for cooking steaks/fish, flipping burgers, boiling eggs, timing walks to lunch and timing just about everything else I can cause I’m fascinated with time/how long things take.

Also use it for time outs for my kids, lol.

I think most people use them quite often. Lots of posts on here over the years.
Parking meters and cooking are omni present.

The best bezel use (non diver) posted here has to be for the 24hr GMT bezel.....
Counting down number of beers left in the fridge from a pack of 24.

Thank you. I just told my wife that I'd be using my Rolex GMT bezel to responsibly manage my drinking time and resources.

She'll come around, I'm sure.

Everyday for everything, cooking, and everything else you could imagine, and oh yeah diving too. I find it more practical than using a chronograph.

I use mine daily - timing kids' ipad time, time-boxing meeting topics, timing the french press, cooking.... list goes on. I find it to be much more useful than I would've expected before getting it.

I time everything...different routes to work, how long things have been cooking, kids screen time, how long my flight has been in the air, this week how long I’ve been laying in the sun...anyone else time longer things with the hour hand?

Timing steaks on the grill, lobsters in the pot, time between classes (break), how much time someone speaks at a meeting. At the meeting, I'll use it 5 or 8 times in a 2 hour period and I do that a few times a week. Also to time a drive.

Those are just a few examples that I can remember from this week.

Take-out food pickup time departures, timing walks and bike rides, any/all cooking times, parking meters, French press timer, meeting and conference call durations. Ok, this is a bit OCD, but sometimes I use for to time wait times for service (food at restaurants, doctor visits, car repair).

I use it for timing my walks every day and snorkeling. I limit it to a half hour because I start to lose body heat in the water.

Pretty much constantly. Timing food, laundry, average time to drive to the store, how long the wine has been chilling....I can go on and on. It is amazing.

The most used feature on any watch I own is the rotating bezel for all the reasons listed above, and then some.
