Newbie question on Model Popularity

It seems that the most popular models are the sport models, and not the daydate. I have decided to try to find a 118238 white dial, roman #s, with all accessories over a 18238. Just have to wait a little longer...Appreciate all you folks sharing you knowledge and experiences for the new guys like me..Be safe

Newbie question on Model Popularity

Get the watch that appeals to you. Buying whats popular simply leads to chasing someone else’s ideal watch.

models with precious metals are more expensive, so they are less popular than steel.

If you haven't already discovered it, try using WatchRecon.

Good luck!

Only you know how you'll be dressed most of the time...and if you intend your watch to be work with work clothes, weekend outfits etc. The Day Date is more of a dressy watch...so I a betting it goes with the occasions you envisioned.

Enjoy it!

Depending on your wrist size I would also look at the DD40. It is the perfect size for a watch IMO.

If it fits your lifestyle, that's a great watch.

Myself always buy and wear the watch I want to own, and not driven by internet hype or what's deemed as being popular.

The Day Date is a great watch and the flagship of the Rolex brand. You can not go wrong with one.
