Pick my new Scotch Tumblers!

Going to buy a pair of nice scotch tumblers to celebrate a life milestone. Just getting one pair for now. I have the options narrowed down to two choices. I'm 27 and would like my choice to still feel good when I'm sipping scotch at 57.

Both are made by Baccarat. Same size and volume (9.5 oz). Vote 1 for the hexagonal base classic (Harcourt) and Vote 2 for the parallel lines (Harmonie). Thanks for the help!

If you really want to enjoy fine whisky then I'd suggest a glencairn glass.

Of those two I’d go for 1. But scotch should really be dipped from a Glencairn glass.

I actually think I have something similar Bas! Riedel Vinum line (I believe the Cognac model). Great for the nose

Not being fussy, i prefer #2 because of less condensation when you use rocks, and #1 for straight drum.

I actually looked at option #2 recently and ended up getting some from William Sonoma instead. They look very similar.

Shortly after breaking one while hand washing it I was thankful I didn't get the Baccarat.

Votes seem to be sliding one way so far... keep em' coming!

As a side note, I will probably pick up some Glencairns as well since they don't cost too much.

Hmmm, A Swiss watch Forum should use Swiss glasses.

Double walled: Your choice of liquor stays cold longer and if you use ice it lasts longer with zero condensation.

The only way to go.

Nice glasses. Something about nice glasses always makes watch you are drinking taste better.

Get the one that feels better in your hand.

Then also get a couple of the glencairns as recommended.

#2 gets my vote. The first one looks like a magnified shot glass to me
