Deap Sea Blue Dial

The only Rolex I have owned is a white faced daytona. 40mm was just too small and I never wore it so sold it years back (wish I hand't based on values today!). The deep sea is the perfect size for me. was able to try one on at a rolex shop.

My question is more on the value of the purchase. How collectible is it? Are they hard to get? Are they discounted? Do you think value will go up over the years?

It is highly collectible in my opinion
They are pretty hard to get from an AD. You should have bought it if you were offered it.
They are never discounted as far as I know.
The value will not go up enough to make it worth your while if you’re buying it with the hopes of making money. If you’re buying it to wear with the chance that you might sell it down the road you will be OK in the sense that you won’t lose money depending on the condition.

I agree with this.
It’s a fantastic watch. I would never even consider selling mine. It’s that good.

It’s a technical dive watch. Not extremely hard to get because of it’s size and wearability for many. It’s a fantastic watch and a have to own if you are into Rolex technical achievements. I don’t own watches for future value so I wouldn’t really care but no Rolex ever gets killed in msrp value if you own it for 10+ years. Not sure I would call any watch a “investment” for those reasons.

One of my favorites. I have just under an 8 inch wrist. It’s my largest watch but surprisingly is one of the most comfortable to wear despite weight and size

I have just under a 7 inch wrist and its not too big and is my favorite of my watches. Value? Does it make you happy to wear? Priceless...

Its a beautiful watch but limited wrist can pull it off. Buy it if you like it not because it might be a collector piece.

Love mine! The watch is very eye catching due to the dial. I would never part with mine.
