Time for the Hulk discontinuation threads to stop!

1. Nobody knows anything about what Rolex will do.
2. A discontinued watch will not make you wealthy enough to retire.
3. Eventually the 32xx movement will be in the Subs but no date has been given.
4. Rolex needs more than a Black SS Sub. You all wanting Blue are dreaming.
5. YouTube wannabe speculators are just that. They really don't have a Rolex crystal ball. Everyone wants to pat them self on the back for being a genius.
6. Last but not least; Nobody Knows What Rolex Will Do!!!! Stop believing in rumors. Believe in FACT!

I agree big blue. Specially with 2.

There are so so many hulks in the world, I really don’t think one will sell for over 1 million USD.

I wonder if people that “invest” in watches are hoping to buy the Paul Newman Daytona of our times lol

"Discontinued" posts are going to continue forever, as are the "My AD said . . ." posts.

Best to simply ignore the B.S. for what it is. That's about all one can do.

Agree with all points except the first part of no 4. Until 2003 Rolex only had a black Sub and black Sub date. I don't see why Rolex won't get back to that system especially that the black Sub is still the most popular model. Plenty of color on other Rolex models. Maybe Rolex wants to reserve black for the Sub line to further differentiate from the GMT.

I agree none of us know for sure what will happen. Though I do think a 126610LB or even 124060LB is more likely the ideal introduction for Rolex to make during a recession. Some of sources that I know that deal with Rolex, believe that a good portion of LV demand influence correlates with demand coming from Asian markets where Subs may be more common and less demand for SD43 and DSSD/DBlue may be. At least in their portion of business and what they have noticed. So from a product management standpoint, it could make sense to reinvigorate those markets with a new alternate color SS dial.

Can this become a sticky thread so new members see it first and stop making new threads without searching?

If they stop creating threads about the hulk getting discontinued, that means more threads about a new sub with thinner lugs LOL.

My uncle's barber cuts the hair of a Rolex big shot in NYC. I know the answer to the Hulk mystery but feel it would be wrong to divulge.

I think it’s more likely Rolex discontinues the LN first in a contrarian viewpoint. Thus converging LN and LV pricing, to set up next redesigns. And imo more likely to see a RG metal intro first. They’ll all be discontinued at some point and replaced, but the only real evidence we’ll ever get before the day of an actual New release is if we all notice ADs haves halted orders. Then we could use mosaic theory to make an educated guess that it has been discontinued. Those halts typically have happened ~3 months prior to new releases. As with anything plans change though.

Wait, you mean like it was when I joined. That'd be AWESOME!

Or the mods could add new boards for value discussion that we could then avoid. Maybe if we flood the general board with new threads about value and resale, fully flood it, then the mods just might finally make a new board.

But I doubt it.

So, I have a modded DJ36, what do you think i can sell it for?
