I can't believe how much I like this watch, right now its getting more wrist time then my DSSD JC! Whats crazy is I bought it on amazon for $149, eco drive is really neat no winding no batteries, it charges by sun light or indoor light, fully charged it will run for 6 months without light, amazing, and accurate to + or - 15 seconds per month. Its a really cool beater watch, and has the best lume I have seen. The small fake dive tank slides open as the watch case

I have the same watch and often wear in the summer. Agree about the outstanding lume, so much so that it’s my sleep-watch. As far as accuracy, mine is to the second and I’ve owned it about 18 months now.

How is the quality on that metal case and bracelet mod? I just bought the grey one last week and have been checking out the mods.

The watch is beautiful. It kind of slaps you in the face to see the reality of what you can get for under $8K.

I think it's pretty good quality for $75. It looks similar to my 15500OR.

Thanks for uploading another shot. I think I’m going to buy it as well. I saw that they are 316l stainless and that’s going to be decent and durable.

Nice! I have the same (but in black). Had it over a year, no issues with it other than my second hand doesn't line up perfectly but, it is what it is.

I got a few Nato straps for mine as I didn't find the stock band to be as comfortable as I thought.

Here’s my Dad’s beater Citizen from 1971. Which he gave to me earlier in the month. Just got it back a week ago from servicing. Unfortunately the bracelet doesn’t fit me anymore so I got a strap for it. The lume still works (disappears within a few seconds after charging lol)!

Previous to this my Dad had a Citizen as well but was stolen when he was mugged going home late from the law library. My grand-uncle found out about it and during one of his business trips to Tokyo he bought this for him (he was a lawyer himself).

He wore this watch during his law school days until he was gifted a Rolex DJ by his first client in 1982 he set this one aside and wore the DJ ever since (the watch I grew up with) Almost forgotten! My mother kept this in her jewelry box for the next 39 years.

It only resurfaced when she pulled this one out; Dad was surprised to see it again after several decades. He gave it to me saying “this is something from my humble beginnings; you should bring it back to its former glory!”

It’s a 36mm manual wind with 43 hour power reserve and currently measured at +2SPD (watchmaker did a great job).

Funny that my first experience with a Citizen would be a mechanical one (not quartz or Eco Drive) and a 50-year old one at that. Obviously this is the most priceless in the collection and wear it in frequent rotation.

That is to funny you posted about the small dive tank watch box today. Just got back from my AD and they had that watch in there case. I made mention of the unique box and the saleswoman said she had one just sitting there because the guy that bought the watch didnt want it. She gave out to me for free.

Literally had never even seen that before and hours after seeing it on the forum I have one for free. Will repurpose it as something else.
