USPS delays - Casio LE

Was not able to order the Mayer LE in time from Hodinkee. So ordered from ebay but still waiting for it for over 2 weeks from VA. Hopefully not lost. Anyone caught in the same boat? Did you get yours eventually?

I have a couple of items stuck with the USPS. Dramatically missed the intended date and now simply say “arriving late”

Still waiting on items that I bought from Ebay...one was shipped on the 11th, and another on the 12th.
They have both been stuck at the Detroit USPS hub for over a week now.

I hate when sellers use USPS. I find Fedex, UPS and DHL are much better.

I ordered a watch from Russia from Amazon in November. Was supposed to be here in mid December, now Dec.31. I think they are using hitchikers to transport it.

The Philadelphia USPS distribution center is the worst in the country at the moment from what I’ve read. Undelivered packages literally up to the ceiling. A combination of unprecedented demand of shipping and 18k~ employees out with covid.

I got mine ordered from Casio a few days ago. Not liking it, will probably look to sell it unfortunately.

Everyone will get their stuff just late.

The PO is swamped with unprecedented amounts of parcels and unprecedented levels of absentee workers both due to COVID. I have a few friends that work in various capacities for the PO. There’s also politics involved between the federal government and PO union but won’t go there.

It’s a recipe for disaster.

I’ve been getting a majority of my stuff later than indicated with some tracking that doesn’t get updated for a week.

But eventually everything arrives.

I think that the delivery workers are being exposed to covid in a big way. Hope they qualify for early vaccination for their health.

I certainly hope so. They’re keeping this country (and many others) running at risk to their own health, and by extension their families’.

I do hope so as well. Just saw that my much awaited package has finally arrived at my local USPS office this am. Despite the delay - thank you USPS workers, we know you are doing your very best under extreme working conditions.

Its the holiday season, so there are plenty of mails and packages going around. Hopefully the package will get to you safe and sound. :)
