Well that was pretty lame...

Here's to hoping Tudor does something exciting in 15 minutes because Rolex is a bit dull this morning

Agreed. Very underwhelming. A two tone explorer? Really?

Pretty underwhelming, altho with Covid and so much hype built in, they didn't really need to bring out anything major this year.

There was never going to be a ceramic Explorer II. So many pundits said "done deal"... Why would Rolex cannibalize the GMT?

Well, looking at it made sense. But Rolex operates with its own logic. What were the odds that they would introduce a 36 TT Explorer I? Nobody saw that one coming. But next year everybody will speculate on a TT no date Submariner.

Glad they left the Exp 2 without a ceramic bezel but a TT Exp 1? WTF?
Underwhelming for sure.

Without question, the absolute worst/uninteresting Rolex event of the past decade.

First thing I watched when I woke up this morning was this Youtube video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6M8EswJdEdw&t=72s

Much more exciting than any of the new releases. (if you like red)

Wow, just browsed Rolex.com. Nice olive green Datejust with palm motif. And meteorite dial oyster flex Daytona’s. Explorer range very underwhelming for 50th

After such a long-anticipated release I kind of feel like this:

The best news is no price increase for existing models.

I wonder how many ppl will predict discontinuations next year (Milgauss, Cellini, Air-King), or if they will stop predicting those since everybody was wrong on so many predictions this year?

I thought the new DJ dial was great. I also think between the new OP dials and now this DJ dial that it’s clear Rolex is being influenced by Grand Seikos great dial work. If that new DJ dial was a Grand Seiko release everyone would be talking about how amazing it was.
