D-Blue: Achievement of my life

I can’t believe that I am actually wearing this watch right now as I am typing these words:
Rolex Sea-Dweller Deepsea 126660, which is honouring a historic dive by James Cameron.
I just stopped watching the documentary of this dive and I have tears in my eyes.
I feel so privileged wearing this monumental watch after all my life’s struggles.
I am just finishing an important milestone of mine and this watch is the concrete reminder that I made it.
In life, I’ve been diving deep into the bottom and now I am back in the surface. Healthy and well and alive.
I studied the history of this watch thoroughly and I even managed to get the book of the first D-Blue 116660.
This watch will be part of my daily life from now on.
I love this watch.
I hope for all of you all the best!

Congratulations! Love to hear your passion. Such a fortunate watch, for having found its way to an owner who truly understands and values its worth not in financial terms but in terms of professional achievement and quest for excellence. May I suggest you name your watch Louis?

"Louis, I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship" ;-)

Enjoy it in good health!

I watched so may YouTube videos on this watch before I actually went to the AD and put in a request. Then the next two months I watched them all again. Reviews, comparisons and unboxings. Watched the documentary on JC several times.

The AD called me almost two months to the day later. Said he had my new Deep Blue waiting for me. I had to wait two more days though because he was off the next day.

So I'm with you. This is such a great watch that I never get tired of looking at.

Congrats to you.

Welcome to the club! Great story and happy for you!

I’ve had the watch for 2.5 years and never tire of all that it embodies as well as being aesthetically awesome!
