Thread for Inventory?

I saw a two-tone SeaDweller in the case at my local AD. I’m not super interested, but it got me thinking: Is there a thread here on RF for this purpose? To let others know when there’s something cool in the case.

I’d be into a SD43. I know people have seen that one in a case randomly.

I’ve been dropping into my AD pretty regularly, and that’s how I landed my TT SD43.
Wasn’t on my radar either since it was my first Rolex, but I put it on and fell hard for it.
A thread with AD sightings would be nice, but I feel like it would just have people chasing ghosts.

Most likely it would just result in plenty of phone calls and more pissed of customers. ADs generally prefer not to sell to out of towners.

These TT sea dwellers aren’t hard to get. Register with an AD and you’ll get one quick. They’ve been popping up in ADs around here randomly.

Flippers and people wanting to attract the wrong crowd to an AD would be all over this. I'd vote no. Rolex needs to figure this out if they want to sell more (my guess is the current market is what they intend).

A friend walked into an AD a couple weeks ago and was offered one as his first Rolex.. gorgeous piece… I think they are under appreciated tho probably due to the price tag.. but not impossible to get..

In that case, why would you pay more per your post to the OP? In MA it’d top $18K incl. tax.

Restarting this thread because a good friend at an AD indicated he has a couple cool pieces, including a WG SkyD and a WG Sub. Is anyone on the hunt?

Throughout all the recent shortages, these along with the TT Explorers, have been fairly obtainable at most ADs.

PM pieces have been, and continue to be much more available than SS sports pieces, both at ADs, and via the grey market.

My local AD in the UK has 6 PM Sky Dwellers and 3 Day Dates currently available to purchase with a variety of dials

PM watches definitely slow movers here but they have sold several DD’s this month

My local AD will not sell over the phone - won’t even tell you what they have - you have to go in to see - or be on the list and they will call you when something comes in. I have gotten 2 via phone call / list and 1 by popping in and getting lucky.
