Lead time for 126660 D-Blue?

Hi,

Unfortunately I live in a part of the UK where I only have 2 authorised AD's and they are a bit of a treck just got them to tell me "haha, no sir, are you having a laugh sir, come back in 2 years sir".

Does anyone know what the wait time is for this piece?

Thanks.

Where about sin the U.K.?

There isn’t a ‘wait time’ as such, it’s down to each individual AD, existing relationship and history and actually going in. If you’ve dealt with them before and have an ongoing relationship I’d say a few months up to two years. If you haven’t I’d say it’s not likely to happen for some time, if at all unless the market changes.

North East. I bought wedding rings there but they was a few years ago now and no where near to the value of what the Rolex is.

From Bucherer own admission, on a online review, “time is not the major factor in attribution”.

So basically yeah, 2 years is a number they tell you because you’re not VIP. Basically you need to wait until people with more spending history + wait time.

Let’s say 20 people want D-blue. 4 are VIP, the rest have no spend history. They will allocate based on this.

Lovely watch but in demand big time. Might be better off with a TT-although you can't get blue.
A lot of catch-22's in Rolexworld.

Seems to be a tricky one. I have been waiting patiently about 12 months for one. My AD managed both a BLNR and a Sub in shorter periods for me.

I on the list for the D-Blue at a few ADs. Although it is not as popular as some other SS models due to the size, many ADs do not receive as many as say a Sub.
So the odds kind of balance themselves out.

I did walk into an AD once who had one in the back which they let me try on, but alas, it was reserved for another customer.

Different market, but a friend of mine in the Bay Area has been waiting 6+ months at couple ADs with some spend history at both. He's regretting not buying grey as 6 months ago when you consider tax in CA, it wasn't selling for that much of a premium over retail. He seems fairly confident it'll be fulfilled before EoY based on his interactions but its all a guess at the end of the day.

Just been into the dealers. Spoke to a nice guy who said the watches are in such demand all he could do was add me to the expression of interest list. He said pretty much anything you would be unable to go in and just buy.

I put my name down for a DSSD JC and a SD43 TT. He said out of the two the TT was the most likely to come in first but if it did then they will call me to try on, as I said I wasn't sure it was the right style for me with the gold, but needed to see in the flesh to decide. JC is a cert if that comes in though.
