Would you?

Hi all I know this is a AP forum but I need some opinion on this and know that a lot of you guys owns multiple watches and not AP

Simple question given my collection would you trade the only AP in the collection for a lange world time and add some cash to a get a breguet la tradition?

This for

+

Here's my current rotation

If I don't do the trade i'll probably get the white or blue dial olympic omega or wait till i get the funds for the breguet

I personally would keep the AP and save additional funds for the Lange and skip the Breguet. Every collection imo needs at-least 1 AP. Just my preference based on the other wonderful pieces you have.

Agree with this. The Lange is nice and worth saving up for but the AP ROO is a classic metal and color combo

First of all, wow, what an amazing collection.

Gut feel, I would do that trade. The ROO looks oversized on you but the Lange looks perfect! I'm luke warm on the Breguet, but all over that Lange for you.

I also think since you have another RG black dial chrono in the Daytona, the two kind of overlap.

If you had the 43mmROO or if this was a ROC, then I'd say keep them in the collection. Basically, I'd rather have another AP in the mix rather than the 44mm ROO. However, I am biased against the 44 size for both yours and my wrist, so take that as the * in the advice.

This were my thought as well That's what's stopping me.

Now that I imagine having the lange in the mix would probably keep me content for a long while

Thanks a lot, to be honest before pulling the trigger on this AP I've previously owned a Greytheme 42 and as much as I loved it, this 44 is my favorite (with the ceramic bezel) but I agree, the Lange might give a different vibe especially being a travel time.

Maybe try on the new 43 in RG and that will tell you everything you need to know?

I wouldn’t do the trade and I think the 44mm looks good on you, I think this Offshore can look oversized in camera phone photos but perfect IRL. I personally don’t like the Breguet although I did like it when I first saw it several years ago.

Keep the AP and sell the Daytona to make it happen. Easy to say but definitely way harder to do.

I do agree the 44 is definitely a fun size masculine and a whole lot of presence kinda watch and I do love that about it , I'm surprised there's not much love on the breguet though it's such an interesting piece. But now thinking about it maybe adding a lange should be the best route perhaps.

I've considered that multiple times as well but my girlfriend stopped me because she believes I need a full Gold piece in the mix. I do tend to agree because I've traded the daytona for the gold AP and within a month I couldn't leave without it and get it back

Keep whatever you have and save more money to get ALS later.

100% agree with this. Definitely keep the AP. Also: I love the ALS, and it looks great on you. That can be your next target watch, but without carving up your current collection. Like others on the list, I am lukewarm on the Breguet, but I am probably missing something.

Great collection, congrats!

This is a tough one… the Lange and Breguet are incredible pieces. I know Breguet doesn’t get much love but I truly love my Tradition - it makes me smile every time I check the time although I can admit telling the time is secondary on this piece.

I’d personally keep the AP though…. Just picked up a 15500 and really want to add another already.

Thoughts on swapping out your RG Daytona or Hulk? Prices are through the roof right now on those pieces.

I consolidated my Rolex pieces to just two earlier this year -my 116500 Black and 16750. Felt like the rest were just redundant.

I would keep the AP. Add the Lange if you really like it. I think the Breguet Tradition is a very cool watch but Breguets don’t look good on my wrist. I think it has to do with the straight lugs.

I wouldn't - mostly because I don't have much use for dress watches. The Lange is pretty nice though. Not quite sure what to make of the Breguet.

Hey Ken I think you know I certainly would not, but I do like Langes so I'd move the Daytona on for it, I moved my RG Daytona on for a RG Nautilus.

Wait till you can afford to buy a new watch. You are just bored and want to trade. Plus you are losing money by trading. Take up Tennis maybe, then buy your Lange when you can afford it

Unload the Tag, Mido, Omega and Corum and grab the Lange along with some extra cash. Great collection.
