which is the right dial configuration for the GMT 16758
Hi folks,
This is my first entry on this site even though i have been lurking for some time. The question I have concerns the right dial and the location of the dial posts for a 3075 movement. I have an 18K GMT 16758 with a service dial and am considering putting on a brown dial. The problem I have is the dial I am considering has the posts set at 6 and 11.15, which I believe is for a GMT 1675. What should be the correct dial for my watch and what position should the posts be located? help Please !!! benio |

I notice no one has answered your question. I can't help you with dial mounting locations.
It is quite possible that all members here are in shock that you want to change that stunning dial. That is one beautiful watch and I for one cannot imagine a replacement. Anyway, there is a brown dial available for your watch. Sometimes called a nipple dial because of the markers. http://www.network54.com/Forum/54036...y+crocodileman Mark |

Thanks for the feedback Mark, this dial is growing on me and I can honestly say I am of two minds as what to do. The service dial matches the hands and the look as you say is beautiful.
I have always had a preference for the originality, but I may take a little longer to decide what to do next. Cheers benio |
