Rolex cyclops problem
Hi guys, I was wondering if this finding (blemish, white dot) and the blue tint at the cyclops should worry me. Also, it is possible that the cyclops came with a magnification problem? It is not the typical 2,5 one. Thanks!

There was a magnification problem with some models several years back which seems to be resolved. Can't see your date window in the pic so I can't tell.
Not sure about the blue tint or dot. Send it in if you have concerns. |

It was quite common around 2015 that some Rolex watches had smaller magnification. Nothing strange about that.
When it’s service time have the RSC change the crystal if it bothers you.

Possible could be a air bubble as cyclops is just glued to the crystal surface and looking at your magnification judging by the second hand it looks fine. With all forms of high magnification everything looks a lot worst than it actually is. Loupes and high magnification can and often will be a Rolex owners worst enemy.

The bluish tint is the anti-glare coating
I see the same thing on my Sub and GMT Don't have a great pic of that, but a slight hue can be seen here |

Yep there were loads of models which had the lower magnification around 2015. I had to shop around for the DJ2 I wanted to purchase without the lower magnification. (Those were the days where stock was plentiful). What’s the date on the warranty card? |
