16570 drilled Lugs…..2005 (D-Serial)?
Good evening All,
I recently came across an excellent condition 16570. It was advertised as a D Serial (2005) but clearly had drilled lugs. I was under the impression that Rolex stopped drilling lugs circa 2003. Can anyone provide supporting or contrary information? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Here is a pretty good reference but I admit it leaves me with more questions than answers Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

You are correct the lug hole case for sport model was discontinued around 2003 during the period of Y serial case.
I believe the seller may be listed it wrongly. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
