Nice to see some development work from the House of Patek.

I’m not a huge fan of repeaters but I do like the aesthetics of the dial.

Beautiful reference and very cool dial. Hard to read those hands though!

Makes you use the repeater function more to tell the time.

I dug this watch when I thought it was the new Calatrava, maybe a 6196 to replace the 5196, but that was before I looked a little harder noticed it was a minute repeater tourbillon and wrote it off as unaffordable.

But I looked at Patek's website and there are two great short videos of the innovation involved and how an extra tuning fork and crystal amplify the sound.
I can't completely figure it yet, but that is the beauty. I really like this watch.

It makes up for the baby blue Pepto model that got so much noise.

Just got done reading about this watch. Love the innovative. I have mixed feelings about the dial. Apparently they went with this dial design because the CEO liked it. Go figure

It may grow on me, but for now I plan to simply watch with interest from the sidelines. I much prefer the back/movement to the front, though I frankly think the words "Advanced Research" have no place on a Patek. I think they sound silly!

With basically no water resistance, not sure this watch ever be anything close to “utilitarian”!
