Messi wearing Stainless Daytona

Not sure how many soccer fans are here but I thought it was pretty cool to see one of the greatest players ever wearing this watch. He was previously sponsored by Jacob & Co and I’m glad to see that’s over and he’s been wearing several different Rolex pieces.

I’m a fan and I consider myself so lucky to live in the era of two of the most astonishing duos in sport history: Pete Sampras vs Agassi and Messi vs Cristiano.

Messi wearing Stainless Daytona

The Daytona is not the only white-dialed enviable thing in his possession

I never wanted a Modern Daytona even before knowing that Messi wears one :-)

Two tones don’t have a ceramic bezel. Only Full PM or stainless have ceramic bezels.

I was distracted by something far more interesting than the watch.
Thanks for the info though.

Whilst he is beyond doubt, the greatest to ever kick a ball, I still don’t really want a Daytona! I know I’m in the minority but I just prefer other references.
I also know my opinion counts for f- all as the missus points out regularly.

Everyone thinks he is the best in the world. He leaves Barca and is struggling at PSG even though he has a ton of stars playing with him. He won the word player of the award this year as it was fixed for him. Robert Lewondoski (probably) spelt his name wrong should have won it. He evaded tax and should have got a jail term and didn’t. I don’t want him in the UK we already have many better players. Salah, Ronaldo etc.

A lot of athletes don't wear their sponsored watches, outside of mandatory outings. For example Max Verstappen who's teams is sponsored by Tag has been seen wearing Rolex outside of F1 events.

It's up to what their sponsor's contract allows and don't allow.

Messi hasn’t hit the ground running at PSG. They are a team of talented individuals but not a very good team. Apparently due to split factions within the team, the French speakers and the Spanish speakers but who knows eh? Messi has scored 27 goals in 35 matches against premier league clubs which ain’t a bad record. Statistically, he is the best player to play the game. Maybe people prefer how Ronaldo or others play, but that don’t make them better. If we are going to rate an individual based on the success of the teams they play in then Dani Albers must be the best as he has won the most titles.
Messi had been carrying Barca for the last 3 seasons, look where they are now.
Anyway……..I like watches.

Barca aren’t rubbish cos messi carried them it’s because they don’t know how to manage money they are in massive debt. Did you see how many goals Robert Lewondoski scored he should have been word best player. He scored 42. Messi is a pampered baby who needs his comfort zone that’s why he is crap at PSG and will be at any other club he goes to apart from Barca.

Actually, I just looked her up. It appears she does love him for more than “his good looks”. She was 8 and met him through one of his friends. He wrote her a letter saying they’d eventually date. He moved to Spain, she dated other people. He moved back, she dumped her man and started dating him. All appearances they’re a very happy, loving couple with a beautiful family and a history since they were children. Not many celebrities that can claim that these days. Kudos to them.

Also, he wears many Rolex.
