Two questions about Daytona

I have not yet decided which model to start my search for.
I cannot find on the Internet in which month and year Rolex changes the 16500 for the 116500.
Another question: Can someone tell me how much a Rolex service of a Daytona is worth?
Thank you.

The 16500 doesn’t exist. 16520 from 98 to 2000 then 116520 from 2000 to 2016. 116500 since 2016.

Hello
Thanks for the clarification. I typed 16500 by mistake.
I'm not attracted to the current model with the dark bezel.
Happy New Year !!

Which model(s) are you considering?

If you don't like the LN black bezel on the current 116500, check out the 116520s (assuming you want SS). Later production references really have all the same features as 116500 introductions outside the ceramic bezel. I love my white dial 116520, great Daytona

PS service varies depending on what's needed if anything. I'd consider planning for $1k to $2k every 10 years for service expenses.
