To me the rose gold looks more stunning but the white gold looks nicer.

The WG is somewhat more sportier and versatile than the RG, both stunning pieces though.

I prefer the rose gold, but would buy the white gold as it’s more versatile.

Shot an email to AP, but why the 20m wr vs 30? I know trivial but does that basically mean barely splashproof?

I think the RG is more complementary to the aventurine dial. The case thickness between the RG and WG is .1mm, I wish they would have just thought it out before hand to make it a more standard rating of 30m WR.

20 is plenty fine. I wash my QP under running sink water, no issues whatsoever

The CODEs look changes a lot depending which strap you use. I have the RG purple dial with black kevlar strap. If AP showed me the purple dial with the purple alligator strap, I would never have bought it.

Same with the QPs. The look of RG QP changes quite a lot with the kevlar strap, so lets compare apples to apples:

Strangely, the QP is the only CODE where I prefer the alligator strap

Hmm, maybe. Haven't seen a picture of WG QP on an alligator strap. The tourbillons, open work and Bolshoi CODE models look the best on an alligator strap, I think. The CODEs look different and better in person than on pictures, so they might look good on both alligator and kevlar.

I really really like the white gold version of this watch! Does anyone know current availability of it from AP in the UK?

Like all Codes it is a wait/allocation piece in the UK.

If you can get it, Rose Gold wins hands down with that fantastic dial. I tried it on in September when I was in AP House and the sunlight that day (next to the window) showed it off superbly.

It’s definitely a piece I’d have to try on first but going by the photos I’ve seen it’s stunning. My collection is already quite rose gold heavy so that’s why I was thinking the white gold version. Will hopefully get a visit to AP house soon.

Best of luck Graham.

No wrong answer here, just a preference

I would call the rose gold very stunning and the white gold pretty stunning. So the rose gold is more stunning in my book
