What is your next great Rolex??

Presumably you have the Rolex (Rolexes) that you wanted, could afford at the time. Which one Rolex do you long for now more than any other.

I went from YM to Sub to Daytona, and for me me it is the GMT anniversary with the green dial IF they ever make it in TT. So mine is one that does not exist. My other is a DJ with Rose dial (sissy looking?)

For JJ, assume you ALREADY have the Holy Grail Blue Sub--now what?

I'll take the Platinum President with diamonds around the edge of the watch case only.

A TOG, YG DD with white dial and stick markers or a vintage GMT master with pepsi dial None are on the radar screen now though

I think the next watch I will buy period is a Tudor chrono. Had one awhile back and think I might want another.

I've harbored thoughts of a GMT II, or Explorer II.

ETA: Who the F##k am I fooling? I won't be able to afford another Rolex. LOL

I don't think I would buy another Rolex at this time.
BUT, if I did, I would look at the TT Blue Sub .

I'd like the mid seventies Cosmo I purchased new returned to me.
It was stolen while I was in the shower at a renowned YC, by a visitor using our facility.

Have owned, or have now, all that I could ever hope for in my lifetime, but the one now, that would set my ticker racing, is a 30s-40s Rolex Prince.

I would like a Plat/SS YM, a no-surround 5513, 1665, or a 5512.

JJ, you dodged the question. I said "assuming" you have the Sub, what's next on the JJ list??--even if just a wish list.

When I bought my DJ, I sweated every detail, thinking that this would be the first and last Rolex I would buy. After all, it is crazy to spend $4k+ on a watch, right??

Fast forward 4 weeks, and I am on the hunt for a SS Sub-date.

I'd say it comes down to a TT Blue Sub, a TT Rhodium Daytona or, if it ever comes out and isn't priced stupidly, maybe a SS GMT with Triplock.

This is scary, John. The moment I saw that you'd posted, I thought that you would say, "My next great Rolex will be a Panerai" in so many words.

Not likely to ever buy another Rolex, but if I were one of these would be sweet!

You could always do a straight swap... your Z4 for a Milguass.

"Value" is about the same.

I'd have to say that the TT blue sub is incredible, and up there on my list..

Otherwise, as much as I have love my 16610, I could deal with an LV if I could ever find one..

Notwithstanding that the Z4 is more fun than the watch, unless you are talking about a new car, the Z4 is cheaper than the watch by quite a bit!

You can always get a Bolex Milguass. They're out there.
