Daytona at Le Mans!

Love seeing my Daytona in its natural environment. Lots of good Rolex-spotting this past weekend during the 24 Hours, including two white ceramic Daytonas, a few SkyDs, and of course a ton of Subs. The Rolex pavilion at Le Mans of course had a bunch of "display only" models, but even those were getting a ton of attention.

We can now return to endless threads about prices dropping/skyrocketing and supply drying up/overproduction.

Sounds like a great weekend, I'd love to go someday. I just watched the Steve McQueen movie again yesterday.

The Daytona was originally going to be called Le Mans till a last-minute change. Rolex even advertised it as such.

And congrats on having the best current Daytona, the black dial.

I never knew that, very interesting! Wish I had bought one back then for $210 (including tax).

My best friend got his Daytona (Panda) in 1969 for $135.85.
